Well the big "Joyzine will return so-and-so" on the front page isn't entirely inviting, but maybe the problem is that there are just too many forums catering to yer English indie rocker. Heres some I'll summarise:
drownedinsound: mostly juvenile office workers jostling for space with bands plugging gigs, moves to fast for intelligent debate- like old NME forum.
dosomethingpretty: mostly dead
irlondon: white heat brats talking utter shit
giittv forum: getting busier, too many annoying stickies everywhere though

Phil Collins: very bad, except that Miami Vice bit. Actually, I lie, that's bad too.

The worrying thing is, I've overheard otherwise sane people describing him as a genius... What the hell is wrong with them? Best thing related to Phil Collins has to be that episode of South Park, or maybe the Brass Eye special...

I've not tried any of the other caucasian indie kid forums actually... I found this one via the Swear and took a liking to it... could do with being just a smidge busier so you can keep up but don't get swamped.... I'm sure there must be someone else out there who wants to volunteer and opinion on Phil though so I'll just sit tight and wait it out....

I love the bit in Buster when he coshes a train driver to death and then starts singing 'You can't hurry love'! What about coshing, Phil? Can you hurry coshing?

My favourite Phil Collins song has to be Sussudio, though. Tax-exiles spouting gibberish has never been quite so catchy.

Apparently Ol' Dirty Bastard once did a mean cover version of that too... I wouldn't have wanted to get on the wrong side of him when he was alive. He'd steal my trainers and sell them for crack.

Yeah I never understood rappers' fascination with the guy. Take Fur-Q's Uzi Lover for example.

It's because Phil is really really rich - thus he has lots of bling. Also, he came up from the street (well the Home Counties but US rappers don't know any different). AND he 'rolls' with Swiss models (no pun intended) and the like.

Overblown prog and middle of the road 80's soft rock aside, he's also done lots of Disney soundtrack stuff which makes him so phenomenally evil I can't even think of a decent metaphor to explain how arse clenchingly vile he is.....

And he's short and bald. And whiny. And he can't sing, or dance, or walk. And people who don't like music think he's a genius. (I don't mean the Black Tulips here obviously.) Phil Collins makes me angry.
