i bought a small collection of lp's off someone which really did vary in quality, a few horrid ones, but a few beauties...about 40-50 records, and athletico spizz was deffo one of the good'ens.. i know that 'spizz' chap has been in a few bands.. all named after him, but havent really heard much of the other stuff.. worth a listen?

I am old enough to remember them first time around - they weren't that good, being a novelty band which made more than one record. 'Where's Captain Kirk' is all you need, and that always reminds me of 'Startrekkin' - which is not a good memory. Plastic Bertrand, now he's a different matter.

the 'its getting closer i can feel it...' bits of the new neils children single uncannily resemble the chorus spizzenergi's hit - 'wheres captain kirk?'
